Nobody here likes change: the effects of preaching biblical stories of change to a congregation in transition

This thesis deals with preaching Biblical stories of change so that the congregation will approach inevitable change with faith. Through 1) preaching Biblical stories of faith through changing situations and 2) congregation questionnaires on attitudes toward change the author shows that/how this kind of preaching produces a more hopeful and open minded attitude toward situations of change in the congregation. The implications of the work are that Biblical stories of change can be used to encourage congregations to respond with faith to change.
