This study has been performed as part of effort to achieve unity within a church wishing to perform ministry in which the deaf and the audible go together. This study was started with the question, 'Is this the right way under the view of God?,' since the situations of the ministry of the deaf have been that most deaf have just satisfied only when they could settled down as a department within the church, or they have had the long tradition of being independent as the church for the deaf when they grow to a certain degree or level. If it is difficult to worship and lead life together with the deaf and there are many various difficulties in social life due to the unique culture and the limitation of communication the deaf have, such problems cannot but be so important subject to be disregarded. We cannot be indifferent to such important problems as if they are the affairs of other people as we live as one people, one family, and one Christian under the same sky, can we?
Realizing the fact that most important point enabling the united church for the deaf and the audible exists in the worship we serve every Sunday, I am worried about how to perform 'the worship together1. Last 8 years have been the anxious period of confirming the fact that worshipping together is never easy though various ways and efforts have been attempted. It is regretable to have middle conclusion at this time due to the limit of time of this dissertation, it never means that I gave up effort to worship together. The effort to serve worship together with the deep affection and effort for one another, steady development of the deaf, and through new culture and diverse image media followed by informationization will continue. It was a great achievement through the past efforts that we had the same confessions except the worship, we had the finger language songs of praise together, performed meadow ministry with the same words of Bible, and could find many areas the deaf and the audible work together through education, fellowship, service, missionary, and exercise. At the same time the possibility of social unity is opened as we had the repeated education, counseling, and interpretation service by finger language as they are necessary for the life of home, place of work and society. As the result of the above we see the increasing number of the deaf who could settle down in our district and this program has been showing the affirmative effect to see the debt who married and gave birth to the children in this district.
