The existing conflicts in Embassy of the Kingdom of God Apostolic Church are caused by language and culture. They require an intercultural bilingual pastoral formulation that is in accordance with the demographical setting of the church that is able to effectively respond to the care of its three-generational congregation. This pastorship will be carried without the feeling of violating any preexisting values, but rather identifying culture values of the membership; collaborating to generate a vision. Hindrances must also be considered as they too form part of every congregation. Language, cultural origin, assimilation to the new culture and the resistance thereof all play part in this ministry. Pastorship is a ministry established by Jesus Christ: “[For] or the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12) The theological foundation for this dissertation is Jesus' intercessory prayer as Priest: “'[That] they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.'” (John 17: 21-23) My plan for this thesis is to firstly, implement an intergenerational bilingual pastorship, then program, investigate, and carry out worship services and preachings for all generations where an atmosphere of comprehension, love, and unity can exist without violating languages and cultures. This is all to enrich the congregation by evaluating the activities of EKG and making necessary adjustments to what is functioning and/or cancelling that that does not function.
