Mission transformation for Evangelical Baptist Convention, India : from evangelistic approach to integral mission

After receiving the gospel for more than a hundred years, the life and living conditions of the Paite tribe has improved much. Yet, many areas such as the socio-economic condition of the whole tribe seems to be in need of more transformation. Evangelical Baptist Convention (EBC), the biggest denomination among the Paite tribe, attempts to reach out to its people, but there are more room for improvements to do integral mission to encompass evangelism and social action. Following Jesus’ example, church ministries should step outside of the church to reach people and transform the whole life of individuals and society.
