The traditional church has been around for many years and has deep roots in tribal culture and family. In the modern age, we still see the existence of traditional churches but due to the changing times and changing faces of the church-goer, these traditional churches have had to face the reality of working to meet the needs of the modern church worshipper. Through this modernization, traditional church leaders can experience difficulty meeting these challenges and, in an effort, to meet these challenges can experience division within their congregation. It can be realized that the very history of the traditional church can be a catalyst for church division. This thesis seeks to empower and arm the church leader with the necessary tools to prepare sermons to aid churches in the healing and reconciliation process.
