Preaching witness vocabulary: teaching a language of faith

Dietrich Bonhoeffer taught the world that although grace is free - it is not cheap: true grace is costly. With this theology as my foundation, I offer the hunch that we can witness to the light and love of a wonderful and awesome God as a result of three simple steps: a) we accept our God-given gifts; b) we answer God's call to use those gifts; and b) we tell our story - God's story in us. It is simple; it is doable; it is teachable. That is what I preached over the last three years and this paper is my offering - my 'story' if you will - on that process.
