This study seeks to document and explore the claim that multicultural Christian education in practical theology, adopted for immigrants in the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea (PROK), can be effective in empowering immigrant’s voices and in ways how to live in company with others in South Korea. I hope this research contributes to establishing a multicultural education practice for the Christian education in South Korea. Also, this thesis-project will help to think about the value of diversity, what enables such diversity and what inhibits such diversity? Lastly, this project will help to think how the multi-cultural church nurtures the identity and religious faith of immigrants, as well as teaches the congregation how to live in company with people from different cultures.
