In the beginning of his ministry, Jesus mentioned how he was anointed to bring the goodnews to the poor and to proclaim the freedom...Luke 4:18-19. Then towards the end ofhis ministry, Jesus said "I have told youthese things, so that in me you may have peace.In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John16:32". The history of the Chin Christians has been a history of pain and suffering due totheir religious beliefs. This paper is written out of pain; the heartfelt pain of the ChinChristians caused by their Christian belief and faith. The history of the Chin people inBurma has been a journey through political suppression; religious oppression; economichardship and few resources. Therefore, this paper is about liberation. It is about finding away to alleviate the suffering and persecution of the Chin Christians. The purpose of thispaper is to help the Chin Christians know the gospel message of Jesus Christ so theymight understand their suffering through His message of liberation.Suffering is a painful emotion that can affect both internal and external human life. Inorder to find peace and freedom in the gospel message, Christians need to submitthemselves to the liberator who is Jesus Christ the Lord because it is only through himChristians can find freedom and an abundant life. Therefore, the Chin Christians need tounderstand the meaning of Jesus' teaching of liberation. They also need to commit theirlives to ChristJesus who has already overcome the world.
