This research is a historical study of women as protagonists present in Judges 5. This research will explore the specific context, culture, and the different roles of women in the poetry of Judges 5, as well as the importance of this poetry in the life of ancient Israel. This research is important for me because in Colombia every day we face situations such as arbitrary abuses of life, civil liberties and power. These constitute challenges to transform fear and death into life and hope while increasing the decline in the building of our dreams to live decently. To face such challenges successfully, we need to defend our nation, Colombia through organizations that value the dignity of humanity as in the case of Judges 5. This research seeks to reflect on and connect the different roles of the women in Judges 5 with the role of women in the midst of a situation so close to all human beings and Colombians today.
