This Thesis deals with the use of Narrative preaching forms as a strategy for inviting listeners to hear the Good News across cultural differences.
Through the practice of preaching in a variety of narrative forms, extensive study of the relevant sources, and conversations with my congregation following each of several narrative sermons, I demonstrate that such forms of preaching are relevant, beneficial, and highly effectual across a variety of cultural barriers.
The implications of this work with the communication of the Gospel will be of particular interest to preachers finding themselves in traditional church settings undergoing great transition and increasing cultural variety.
